For I am Unski, though many have been my names in the vast realms of the internet.
Ah, where to begin? In the tender age of 12 I heard the name Forgotten Realms for the first time. It might be my nostalgic imagination, but I remember a magical feel when I first picked up that tome carrying those golden letters on a stone background.
The Realms were one of my first touches to fantasy in general, and they have always been my cornerstone, so to speak. So, whenever I try to summarize wether a fantasy story, for an example, was worth reading, I take myself to the great Realms and start to compare.
Of course this is a bit unfair to the story in question since very few stories can match the Realms.
Of course this each and everyone of you already know.

Now, after witnessing the turn of eighteen years, I have entered the grand halls of Candlekeep. Long did I search for lore and knowledge by myself, but here in the cold northern Finland the Realms are not as well-known as they should be. So, where else would a bumpling young learner come than to Candlekeep?

Aye, I am sure my stay here will be a long and fullfiliing one.
Oh, and I already apologize for all the possible misunderstandings ye old ones might have from my writings. My understanding of the Common language - often also called english - is not yet perfected.

And that be the end of that story.

Hello, Unski, and welcome to Candlekeep!

This being the best halls of knowledge that exist (no mention the dwarven halls, of course ) in our loved Toril, feel free to research anything, of any topic.

And if you have any question about any scroll, the sages of the keep are everywhere, to help and to aid all that came in peace and in joy.

Oh, and fear not any language problems. I say this because of my own experience. I´m a brazilian, and even with my poor knowledge of common language (english), the Sages of the Keep was always kind and respectful with my mistakes.

Dwarf, DM, husband, and proud of this! :P

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Welcome to Candlekeep Unski!

Yet another Finn, I see, and thus even a greater reason to greet you.

You shouldn't worry about language problems, here is people from so many countries.

Welcome!

Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why should we really need to live

So many warm welcomes make me smile. I thank each and everyone of ye for thy kind words. And surely I shall ask if questions shall arise. After all, how can there be answers if there aren't questions to be answered in the first place?

Oh dear Oghma, just can't wait to get my hands GENTLY on all those tomes of this fine Keep.
And to Silvfana, a fellow Finn, I raise a special toast. Skåll ja hölökyn kölökyn!

And that be the end of that story.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.
