I'm using The Lost Level of Undermountain this weekend as a plot device for my campaign. Are any of the magical items in the back of the module updated to 3.x? If not, no big deal I'll just substitute them but I thought I'd ask first.
TIA

Bandaerl's Chime is fairly edition-agnostic.
Each of the Blades of Namar Khem now roughly is worth about 29,000 gp. They are initially +2 weapons, then become +4 defender weapons when used by a ranger to strike one foe. I'd suggest ruling that they only become +4 weapons for one round, then they revert-they also revert if used to strike different foes at any time during that round, attacks of opportunity included.
Dhusarra's Ring is also fairly edition-agnostic, and the price provided is about right for 3e.
The Diadem of Lady Armatha gives a +4 bonus to Willpower saves to disbelieving illusions and can cast zone of truth and detect magic once a day. It takes up the hat or headband slot, and is worth 4,520 gp.
Dumathoin's Wrath is a mithral warhammer. In the hands of the proper wielder, it gives a +10 competence bonus to Move Silently . When thrown, it acts exactly like a Dwarven Thrower(see page 226 of the 3.5 DMG), while when used in melee combat it becomes a +5 holy weapon that also has the spell resistance and greater dispel magic abilities of a holy avenger. It is worth 102,983 gp.
The Staff of Argus Dumatheir is an epic weapon now. It's a +1 dread(giants) mithral quarterstaff(although wielded against anything other than giants, it does its damage to the wielder) that also grants a +7 deflection bonus to AC and makes the wielder immune to all fire damage. It's worth 1,102,600 gp. |

Glad to help.
Do you need any help with the monsters, too, while I'm at it? |

Ah I have those covered. I'm running at a much higher level than the levels in the module. The Behir is going to be an advanced fiendish half blue dragon behir. The carrion crawler is now a neothelid. Crawling claws may stay the same but now have the "swarm" ability however I may add the apocalypse swarm template from the Advanced Bestiary. Deathkiss, Death Tyrant I'll use from my FR material, the Elder Orb is an advanced 6th level sorcerer elder orb. Got the vampire all geeked out as a 16th level cleric of Malar, plus some other nasty surprises. |
