Dornavver is NOT a Hammer. Someone screwed the pooch on this.

Big time.

Sadly, WotC has a history of including artwork that does not match the text descriptions. There have been many examples of this in 3E.

I also found a typo -- "Crown of Horns" was neither capitalized nor italicized, on one page.

But I'm willing to let small errors go by. It's not always easy for people to catch things like that, so if one or two errors happen, it's no big deal.

There's also a character in one of the organization stat blocks that is missing a race.

On a more serious note, the Triadic Knight statblock has an illegal magic item. You can't have a potion of Shield of Faith +5 anymore. Shield of Faith and Divine Favor cap at +3 according to the errata.

Yep. I especially like the captions below the various "races" pictures in the Player's Guide to Faerūn.

E.g. "Gold Dwarf" under a Duergar, "Lighfoot Halfling" under a heavily armoured and mean looking Halfling while the nomad type one is supposed to be a Strongheart, but even better: "Illuskan" under a red wizard! This was funny.

But yes, mistakes like that happen easily enough with WotC running nearly the same volume of products with half the staff compared to some years before... They are not tragical, nearly commical actually.

I am more bothered by the back and forth about the correct LA for a Shade (+3 or +4, who can tell) or the "Shield of Faith" one that msatran just mentioned... The monster class for the Draelgoth in CoR was bugged as well, IIRC.

Ah, and you wonder why WotC always has positions open for editors, eh?

Seriously though, I am confused by the amount of errors in the books. I have no problem with them - but I have to wonder about a company that makes a good portion of its livelihood on producing books having so many editing mistakes.

Oh well, doesn't matter really, I will be buying the books nonetheless.

Still rockin' the Fey'ri style.

Well, you're right. And I guess that's partly the problem. WotC is, by definition, having a monopolistic hold on D&D and the Realms, so it can get away with putting out poorly edited books. What surprises me is that, considering their grip on the market, their quality is not much lower than it is.

And I guess that it speaks for the quality of the staff and authors working for/with them: despite the fact that they could just abuse their monopoly and go really really far without losing too much clients, it is really great that they are nevertheless maintaining the level they're at.

Or am I in a funny mood because it's the end of the day and I just got out from a taxing meeting?

We'll see: will have to re-read this post tomorrow morning!
