I believe you'd have to ask Robert Lazzaretti and Dennis Kauth, who are the listed 3e Realms cartographers.

You know I emailed WOTC and they would not say anything. I wonder if these guys would. I just want to make maps for my games....not steal an empire! :)

Hey Kianna, if you are successful, tell me about it. I think that would help me out with the Triange of Three a great deal also

You know odds are good that they use a few different programs and indeed might use odd fashion tools like drafting paper. I know that when I drew a few maps for the net I started with paper, then used a few different computer programs to have the map finished.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Hello-

IN my somewhat recent pillaging of the OWTC site for downloadable realmslore - I did stumble across an article where they talked about the process used t o make the maps. I skimed it - and it seemed quite involved - something that would not really be possible for a home-game. Sorry that I don't have a link for you thoogh. :(

Dhomal

I am collecting the D&D Minis. I would be more than willing to trade with people. You can send me a PM here with your email listed - and I can send you my minis list. Thanks!

Successfully traded with Xysma!
