I was wondering if someone could give me a little info on the two Realms of Dragons Anthologies. I am immensely enjoying the Year of Rogue Dragons Trilogy, which I just recently picked up and was wondering if the content in the two anthologies was similar. Are some of the same characters included in short stories? Links to pertinent scrolls on the afore mentioned two books would also be greatly appreciated.

Well met
The two Realms of the Dragons anthologies are separate entities, without any of the same characters. The first one has the classic Realms authors (Ed, Bob, Richard, Lisa, Paul, etc.), while the second one has us "Young Dragons" -- the newer authors to the Realms (Kameron, James, Murray, Jaleigh, Ed Gentry, myself, etc.)

As Erik said, the content between the two anthologies themselves is quite different. But to address the other side of that question, there are mostly conceptual similarities between RLB's trilogy and the anthologies. That said, RLB has a story relating to his trilogy characters in RotD as well as Murray Leeder having a story that relates directly to the newest Rage of dragons. Other than that though, the only connection is that all the anthology stories are about dragons.
I hope that helps answer your question.

My thanks to you both. I intend to pick both up the next time I make it to my local bookstore. I wanted to the links so I could go get additional opinions once I have read the stories. These answer my questions quite well though. Again thanks.
