What?! These Realms are forgotten?
I like anywhere in the Heartlands. |

I would have to say that the north, especially the sword coast region. It has the feel of what the realms is to me. |

Definately Amn, one of the best places to adventure. It's chock full of chaos and opposing factions and far-reaching consequences. One only has to flip through Cloak & Dagger or the Amn sourcebook (name escapes me - also has Calimshan and Tethyr detailed - by Steven) to gain a dozen varied ideas on adventures for Amn. I've recently (as in this weekend) become a DM, and this is the place where I'll be taking them, allowing them to shape the future of the country as it struggles through its Reconstitution. Incidentally, I heard a while back that Ed was going to do an update article on this area. Has this come out yet, or do I still wait hopefully? |
So sayeth the Smyther, the Dark Bard of Amn. |

Netheril/Anauroch is my favorite hunting grounds and realm, for the desert sands conceals many worthy mysteries and artifacts to be found not to mention Netherese ruins, even the occassional run-in with the Shadovar seemed fun enough especially when it comes to looting. |

I went with the North in the end, though it was a tough call. It's just been where I've had the most adventuresome fun. |

I threw my vote to Amn, the land of coin. Amn just has such many intrigues, and with the Shadow Thieves around one never knows what will turn up. Yes, the Shadow Thieves must be one of the greatest reasons for my vote. I've also gotten a very rich and detailed image of Amn. It is very realistic in a way due to all of the politics and powermongering goin on. |
And that be the end of that story. |

I'm currently -besotted- with the Great Dale. So much history, so many adventure/campaign hooks and no novels to "butt in" on the stories my players and I want to explore.

I voted The North because I find it the most traditional of all fantasy settings.
That said, Amn was a close second because of all the intrigue possible. |

I voted the North, but I like the Sword coast north too.
My second favorite region would have been the Moonsea area. |

The Sword Coast is my choice. Just can't get enough. And I don't think I'll ever get bored with it. |

High Forest! The most interesting forest I ever read about in all my ventures of reading about the realms. That place is full of stuff and it is a huge forest. You can't beat that! Plus I love woodlands. An elf at heart. |

I went for The Sword Coast, after having spent so much time there in the Baldur's Gate games and books etc. I'll always have fond memories of that place! |

Wow! What an incredibly difficult question to answer. If I had to pick, I'd pick the Dalelands. I'd love to see some of the less explored lands on the list: Chult, The Unapproachable East, etc. |

This is a hard choice. Of the alternatives on the list I would say the Dalelands, but if they were alternatives I think I would say the Western Heartlands or the Dragoncoast. The main reason for this is that these areas are the ones I have worked the most on myself. |

I really like the Underdark, Waterdeep, and the Moonsea. The Underdark is mysterious and exotic, Waterdeep is simply amazing, and the Moonsea has a lot of potential- it's so corrupt, it's perfect for a heroic, espionage-ish campaign as a member of the Nights of the North. Since I can't choose the Underdark or Moonsea, Waterdeep it is! |

I'd have to say a combination of the Sword Coast and the North. Mostly because of the cities, Waterdeep, Mirabar, Neverwinter, Luskan, among other places like Mithral Hall. Waterdeep in and of itself has got to be one of my favorite places in all the realms, plus you get dragons, orcs, and all other kinds of stuff. I don't usually like dealing with places like Calimshan, or the Thayvians on the other end |

I voted for the North because we have always had great campaigns there over the years from the old Grey Box to 3.5. What a long strange trip it's been. From stopping an orc horde that was descending on Silverymoon to being orc champions leading a horde of orcs that was churning through the Silver Marches like a riding lawnmover through crabgrass (until all those pesky dwarves got their act together and collectively kicked are arses back to the mountains. Oh what a long strange trip it's been. |

No can't do it, not one but three
The North ( the only one listed ) The Cold Lands : Damara, Vassa, Narfell. The Underdark
I like the whole idea of being alone against the harsh enviroment and even harsher enemies, plus I Love Cracking Orc Heads!!!! |

Went with the North slightly over the Sword Coast. |
When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. |

A difficult choice... I have a fondness for Cormyr, though the war kinda tore that place apart. The Dales and Sword Coast are also favorites. Halruaa is absolutely wonderful, but not quite what we're looking for. I found that my final choice was decided by a campaign I once ran in which the Riders of Nesme valiantly faced down a charge of ogres, giant orcs, and other beasties with the help of a party of adventurers, and so the North, specifically Nesme, takes home the award. |

I'm surprised that no one voted for Mulhorand and that Unther area. |
