I cannot remember having met the first person mentioned. Who is that?
My vote probably goes to Tiax.

Thibbledorf Pwent, leader of the Gutbuster Brigade. Probably Bruenor's smelliest friend |

Once the Menzoberrenzan Drow run away from the Drow Practices in other cities. Then they settled Menzoberrenzan, and prayed to there evil and mad godess Lolth, the Spider Queen. Then they turned the same way has there far away cousins (isn't that ironic)

Bellua Aeneus Lacerta, did you mean THE King Tiax or the member of the same name registered on these forums?!
I think I recall a topic about King Tiax some time ago. In fact I think it was myself who raised the question as to who King Tiax is. IIRC, I was told that he is a character in one of the FR computer games (Baldur's Gate maybe?!).
So further to that, is King Tiax detailed in any FR sourcebooks or is he purely a computer game creation? |

He is purely a creation of BioWare, an NPC to join the party. He reappears in Baldur's Gate II but there he cannot join the party.
His name is only Tiax in Baldur's Gate - the 'King' was added by the member who signed up. This was probably done because Tiax in the game is an insane gnome thief/cleric who worships Cyric. His megalomania had caused him to believe that he will one day rule all(!), thus becomming King.

Pwent is a 'true' FR character, he appears in the Drizzt stories roughly at the time when the drow of Menzo start laying siege to Mithril Hall. (IIRC) |

I would have to say I think King Tiax is more unstable just from what I've heard on this topic. Thibbledorf Pwent is a little odd, judging from his actions like never taking off his rusty armor, but I think an insane worshiper of Cyric qualifies for being more unstable. |

He posted just recently . . . .
And read the posts on this thread a little more carefully, you'll see that others have asked that question. Or just read Salvatore's Legacy instead. |

I think it was meant (at least partly) as a joke.
