Since the archwizards trilogy has there been any other writings about the shadovar? I think Races of Faerun is the only one i could find.

Shadovar Society
Shadovar society is made up of a strict hierarchy. It could best be described as a mobile city-state that combines features of a monarchy, meritocracy, and magocracy.
Royalty
The City of Shade is ruled by the High Prince, or Most High. He is an archwizard of great power. His authority is absolute within the city. His assistant is The Prince’s Hand, Hadrhune. Although Hadrhune is not royalty himself, he is a potent political force within the city. The Twelve Princes of Shade serve under the Most High. Each of them is assigned tasks to supervise by the High Prince. All of these individuals are powerful arcanists and shades (in game terms a shade is someone that has received a powerful template that gives them a shadowy appearance as a side effect). Competition among this circle of archwizards is simultaneously fierce and regimented, much like Shadovar society.
The Arcanists
Below the royal family, but far above the average Shadovar in authority and importance, are the wizards and sorcerers of the City of Shade. Taking their name from the ancient Netherese term for wizard, the arcanists are the magical backbone of the city. They staff the institutions of learning, train the talented in the secrets of the Art, and support various missions as the twelve princes command. There are approximately one thousand arcanists living in the city, of whom roughly two hundred fifty are shades. The shade arcanists are by far the more powerful representatives of the group, and they hold the positions of highest authority among the arcnist assemblies and organizations.
The Determinists
Centuries of survival on the Plane of Shadow taught the Shadovars that survival is accomplished only when every member of the society understands his or her role and works for the betterment of the city as a whole. Thus, Shadovar society is strictly hierarchical, but is also a meritocracy. Everyone is expected to work for the security and survivl of the community to the best of each person’s capacity. This capacity is determined by a specialized battery of tests administered to each fee citizen shortly after he or she reaches the age of thirteen. These tests are administered by the Determinists, lead by Prince Lamorak, and are highly effective. After receiving the test each person is assigned a position within the city.
The Military
Some Shdaovars who demonstrate only minimal magical aptitude find a respected place in the city’s military. Most begin as low-ranking soldiers, but ample opportunity exists for the able and intelligent to earn promotions into the ranks of the officers. The City of Shade suffered innumerable attacks from a variety of hostile creatures during its long sojourn in the Plane of Shadow, and the army bore the brunt of these offensives. The City of Shade’s army currently numbers approximately three thousand soldiers. In preparation for its return to Faerun, the army is attempting to rapidly increase in size.
The Church of Shar
Although the City of Shade is mainly a magocracy, the clergy of Shar still are a powerful force within the enclave. This is for two reasons. First, the Plane of Shadow is the demesne of Shar. Second, the arcanists of the enclave each use the Shadow Weave, which is controlled and created by Shar. The spiritual leader of the city is the high priest of Shar, Prince Rivalen Tanthul. From the massive Hall of Shadow located near the royal palace, the prince administers Shar’s clergy and pronounces her will to the faithful. It is Rivalen’s hope that when the City of Shade returns to Faerun that they will combat the forces of Shar’s hated sister and enemy, Selune.
Commoners
Shadovars who show no aptitude for spells higher than 0 level or for warfare are assigned to one of the common ranks of society. These folk make up the bulk of the inhabitants in the City of Shade. They know their places and understand that the city’s survival depends not only on their ability to work hard for its future but also in their obedience to their society’s structure. The Shadovar commoner is loyal to his princes and devoted to his city. The rare citizen who displays behavior or commits acts that may undermine the city’s safety or security are discovered, often by the nobility’s paid informants, and put to death.

One Shadovar priestess of Shar has the role of antagonist in Mistress of the Night. Apart from that I can't think of anywhere else that hasn't been mentioned already (unless they get a mention in The Horrors - a Dragon Magazine article (septembre 2002) which I haven't looked at very carefully).
Possible something can be gleaned from the entry on Krinth in Champions of Ruin as well. |
There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

THe mages in the archwizards triology were Shadovar and NOT shades is that correct?

I believe Shadovar are the name of the residents or the enclave.... but the leaders, and some of the other residents, are shades...... |

Yes, true, the Shadovar are normal humans but with some slight differences from a normal human whereby they possess slightly better resistances to disease. |

| The next Erevis Cale trilogy will supposedly deal with the Shades. Also, I don't about a resistance to dizease, but in the Return of the Archwizards series the shadovar people are described as having gem colored eyes and the nobles having metallic ones. |
