Well met and hearty greetings from an old adventurer who hasn't been in the land of the realms for twenty years, but is once again ready to rescue maidens fair, plunder the treasure chests of the rich, carouse with fellow adventurers and be right behind the younger bucks when it comes to slaying monsters. It may take this old warhorse a night or half a dozen to brush up on the lore but am keen to join in the adventure..............
give me shout, I'll be sat over here in the corner with some fine ale for company

Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Welcome Robin Hood *wink*
May your time here bring you profit. |
"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards." "Caring for afterwards ...? Greetings and welcome. |
We have fostered trust, recruited loyalty, and gathered the faithful. We have trained thousands. Our legions can cover the land, fill the sky and travel through the darkness. We can hunt any and all that would deny our heritage. Now is our time, now is the time of the Dark Reign(Rain) of the Empire of Shadows. - High Prince Telemont Tanthul, Lord Shadow In a speech given to the citizens of Shade Enclave At the celebration of the Shinantra Battle victory when he revealed that he was THE Lord Shadow of legend. |

Thankyou friends for your heartfelt greetings.........
I'm kind of hoping someone may be able to point me in the direction of a game (I hear with all the new technology acquired recently it is possible to do this online?)
The last time I ventured into the realms you had to throw dice!!!!!

Well met
Indeed, dylan de Vere. These Gondish meddlers insist on creating new ways in which to venture into the Realms Ye may find something of use herein regarding these methods. However, primarily, the Realms is about the old parchment and dice method, which ye will find the vast majority of Candlekeep to be based upon.
Needless to say, if something has an FR tag attached, 'twill be discussed herein |

Eeee by 'eck, that looks scary.....more scary than a red dragon whose had has treasure pinched! Servers? what are these? Now I do yearn for the old parchment, quill and bones method. But alas where to find such a gathering. |
