Good day...or good night for those who read this under the comfort of Selûne's light. In the Realms I am known as Damian Naïlo, seeker of magic and lore, troubled half-elf, former member of the Spellguard of Silverymoon, and above all, a man who loves his Art, and all of Faerûn. I share with you the pleasure it brings me to be a part of these boards, and I have truly high expectations of my time here.
Looking forward to make this place even more enjoyable for us all,
Damian Naïlo.

Well met, Damian Naïlo
Welcome to Candlekeep. High expectations eh? Oh thou shalt surely be more than satisfied with the numerous scrolls and tomes of lore herein, not to mention the many knowledgable scribes to aid thee in thy quest for knowledge.
If I can be of any assistance, please just holler (just not too loud, this is a library, after all) |

"What's that," asked Mogget. "Sardines," said Sam. "I knew they were standard rations, so I got a few tins for you." "What are sardines?" Moggest asked suspiciously. "And why is there a key? Is this some sort of Abhorsen joke?" Abhorsen by Garth Nix

Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Greetings to you Damian Naïlo, and welcome to Candlekeep.
Here you will find many curious questions pertaining to the Realmslore. You will also discover many fantastic answers -- some of which have even been provided by the Great Sages themselves.
So please, take a look around. If you feel the need to ask a question, simply find the appropriately place in the library and open a scroll. One of our many knowledgeable scribes will be happy to assist you in learning more about the Realms.
See you in the library .
