Hello everyone, I have some questions to ask so I hope no one mind me asking this. I know the Sage had created a list of Deities with a link to the website that has the list but for unknown reasons, I could not access the page so i had just to post this topic to ask. By the way, my apologies to you, the Sage, for saying this.
here are the questions: 1) How many dragon gods are there and what are they in charge of?
2) Do they submit to the will of Lord Ao or are they independent of him?
3) Did they walk Faerun or Toril during the Time of Troubles?

We know that Tiamat, for one, did. I think there is a Scroll here in Candlekeep that shows the locations of every known deity that walked Toril. I can't find it for some reason though. ??
Sadly, the webblocker at work won't let me see Sage's scroll :( |

There's a list of what gods were where on the WotC site, but it doesn't include the draconic deities.
For more info about what the non-draconic deities were doing during the Time of Troubles, look here.
2) If they are active anywhere in the crystal sphere, they answer to Ao.
3) All the gods were kicked out of the heavens, not just the Faerûnian ones. So we may not know where they were, but we can rule out lounging about in celestial lairs. |

On the other hand, these gods are from suspect sources like FOR1 Draconomicon (despite Eric Boyd's attempt to rehabilitate them in Cult of the Dragon), and if you look at reliable sources like "Wyrms of the North" you see that dragons don't actually worship these deities very much. It seems to me that dragons are too arrogant to worship gods, in the main, and are more likely to see Tiamat and Bahamut as exalted peers to be respected and feared. |

If dragons are too arrogant to worship their own gods, surely will they end up in the wall of the Faithless in Kelemvor's Realm? Being punished as faithless. It would be nice to see a few dragon souls pinned up in the endless wall of the Faithless rather than the usual faithless souls from the mortal races of Faerun. |

hm . . . that conjecture sounds familiar, lol.
I don't think that the dragon's are too arogant to worship gods, especially if they have a whole outer plane to themselves. I would say that dragon gods realize that their servants are prideful, and they the qualifications for being a "faithful servant" may be a bit lighter on dragons than on others. |

Do dragons have a death god? It’s Null, right? Well, like all the other death gods except Kelemvor, they’re kind of useless. But I think I’m moving into “pet peeve” territory, rather than staying on topic.
Also horribly off topic, but I have this sudden image of Kelemvor looking and acting like Zap Brannigan, and Jergal being like Kip.

Well I do have a question I would like to ask, it is known that teh Faerunian gods have their own "Chosen" such as Mystra's Chosen and Shar's unknown Chosen. So did the dragon gods appoint any wryms to be their Chosen or champions of their cause? |
We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. |

It should be noted that in 3E there are only 4 dragon gods:
Null LN (combines aspects of Chronepsis & Falazure from Draconomicon) Hlal CG (same as Aasterinian from the Draconomicon) Task CE god of greed. & Tiamat LE
They live in the 3E plane of Dragon Eyrie. It would be great if they worked the other 2E dragon gods back into 3E lore somehow, but those other gods are absent from the official picture at the moment. |
