Hey Alaundo, new here on the forums.

I got here because I recently finished a compendium to the Forgotten Realms D&D 3rd edition filling out 150 pages, and I was told I would have a good chance of posting it here and get some feedback. Where should I post it?

Great site!

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

As for your compendium... Email Big Al, and he'll handle it.

Greetings to you Grunker, and welcome to these halls that we call Candlekeep . And you come bearing gifts... Alaundo will be so pleased .

Before I go any further, let me just say that I enjoyed reading the quote in your sig. It happens to be from one of my favorite V:tM novels .

Now, please partake of the numerous and varied scrolls on offer here in the Library Eternal. I'm sure you'll find many types of lore, each of which will suit your own personal interests.

So, as to this Compendium... can you tell us a little about what is included in it?

Thank you for the pleasant welcome.

As for what's in the manual, I can post the foreword here to give you some insight:

Foreword of Demon's Blood:

"Through time almost all DM’s has changed or turned the rules of the D&D system to better fit their needs. This usually ends up with the players arguing with DM when he suddenly changes a rule in the middle of an important combat. The players get irritated because the rules might have been to their favor, where the DM’s is not, the DM get irritated because he knows that one rule rules above all others: The DM is always right. But I am myself a player who knows the rules and I get pissed every time my DM bends a rule out of the blue. So in my campaign, I have written down almost all changes to the rule system that by my opinion needs to be changed. But of course, there might come times where another rule is discovered that need bending or editing. But if this happens, and the change isn’t recorded in this manual, I promise you that it will be as soon as it is discovered.

But that’s not all this manual holds. Through the years of my DM career, not all of the sessions I played held real importance to the Forgotten Realms. Neither did all of the sessions I played as player under other DM’s. Not all, but some. The ones that did, brought some radical changes to the realms. And if I play a session as either player or DM, and a radical change happens, I don’t ignore it when I take up a new party and play as DM. This book also holds these radical changes of Faerûnian history.

The Demons Blood® compendium takes its beginning in 1372DR, the year of wild magic. In this period the blood war, the battle between demons and devils, is heavier than ever, and with the coming of Solari, Crysalis becoming a deity, and the Yuan-Ti sorcerer Iredâl summoning multiple devils to the face of Toril the blood war is undergoing some radical changes. The River of Flame is under attack by Graz’zt and Solari, the devil LeMur has gained a stronghold in the underdark for the devils and more and more disciples, thralls, diabolists and demonologists are springing forth, making shady deals with the evil of the nine hells and the abyss. This heavily affects Faerûns everyday life, and new cults of all the evil gods and entities are springing forth. To top all this, Baphomets creatures, the minotaurs have found out how to breed, and can now multiply themselves without the help of a wizard, many new sightings of minotaurs have been seen, for they are now leaving their priced labyrinths.

One last thing can be found in the Demons Blood compendium. It is a compendium, and following the tradition, loads of new spells, prestige classes, feats, weapons, magical items, and much more is in this manual. Enjoy."

Further than that, it also hold its share of FanFic, legends and stories in which I explain who and what some of the names mentioned above is (this is also explained slightly in the chapter called "occurences").

But enough of that, I'm on to find some delicious things on this site

Don't hesitate to tell me if you know of any place I can upload the compendium, it's roughly 7-800 KB big.

If Big Al isn't able to assist you in this regard (but something tells me he'll be more than eager for this ), contact me privately. I'll see what I can do about hosting your work on my site .

That sounds mighty fine! I'll be anticipating some feedback

Welcome to Candlekeep.

You might want to try a simple free webhost for a temporary upload, just to allow all us curious sorts to have a peek at your scroll before Alaundo manages to find space on the shelves for you. Might have to break it into smaller scrolls for some free hosts though, but doing it like chapters wouldn't hurt, right?

And don't worry about your english. Most americans are horrible at it anyway. ^_^

No worries about your English. Not everyone here is an American, and even for those of us who are, our ability to use the English language isn't always the best.

I know that everyone can commit the act of pronouncing bad english from time to time, but as a dane, sometimes I miss it if a sentence is really weird. Sometimes I almost sound like Yoda

Sorry . While I was thinking about the Attack of the Manshoon Clones storyline, I thought Revenge of the Shade would be an appropriate title for the final episode in the prequel of SW-themed FR adventure ideas... .

LOL, Attack of the Manshoon Clones? What is that? The Great Wizard of the Xhentarim overruns Faerûn with his clones!
