No, it's not the title to a sequel for Elminster's Daughter... , rather the Lady K and I are now the delighted parents of a little baby girl!!! .
Baby Narna (), was born June 8th at 4:38 pm, weighing in at 7 pounds 12 ounces, and was 19 3/4 inches long. She's perfectly healthy, and is doing well. A very tired mommy and a still ecstatic daddy, on the other hand, are starting to show signs of severe sleep deprivation. As such, I'll probably be sporadic in my visits here over the next few days.
Upon my return, I'm buying every scribe a round of Cormyr's finest brew at Candlekeep's local Inn. Now however, I'm going off to see that the Lady K gets some sleep, then I'm getting some much needed rest of my own... .

Congratulations from the Savage Frontier (Sweden, those Norwegians can be real pesky sometimes) to both you and Lady K, Sage.
May there be much sweet water and light laughter in Baby Narna's days to come. |

We appreciate the congrats fellow scribes. We take them all to heart .
I thought our choice of baby names might have caused some curious questions, but it seems like every scribe is familiar with the name "Narna" by now... .

Lol. Sage, you are not the first person I know who's name their kid after a FR character. At another forum that I go to, there's a woman who named her daughter "Danica". |

Congratulations to you, Lady Kazandra and little Narna from that Maztican... errr... Brazilian lands
May the blessing of Moradin fall upon you and your family, Sage! Now it cames the time to "reshape" the house: put the little minis out of the way from the "swallowing gargantuan baby" (same to the dices). And don´t show to Narna that weird figures in the Lords of Madness . It´s causes nightmares!!!
Well, now I´ll go to one mug of that cormyrian brew, and go back to my runes |

I'm not sure, but I know Narna's already grown to love my little wizard plushy that I brought to the hospital from home... .

As the Georgy-come-lately, I offer my heartiest congratulations and best wishes on the safe arrival of your daughter Narna. I knew I should have gone with "Khelben Krashos"! Another little FR loremaster for Candlekeep. How's that creche coming along, Big Al?

Well met
Just fine, George, just fine. Although it's being a little tedious having to cover each page of each tome in plastic to avoid spillage damage and jam handprints |

Dearest Sage and Lady K,
Words can barely describe my joy at your great fortune. My prayers for both of you in the next while and my deepest heartfelt congratulations on the opening of the greatest door available to two people. I know in my heart you will both make fantastic parents, and while I don't know the exact refernce to her name, I think it's awesome
May God bless you and keep you both, guide you to do what's right as parents, and lead you always down the correct path. Congratulations again! 1 down, 11 to go eh? |

Thanks MuadDib . We all appreciate your thoughts. One of these days though, we're going to have to play the "catch-up" game in our private discussions eh?
