If I'd been a member of the WotC-boards I'd be demanding a recount right now. |

Someone call Al Gore away from the all you can eat buffet line and tell him we need a vote recount. He should be able to help us out.
And I'm not impressed by either candidate this week. |

By rights, the Terrasque should win the whole contest. I see though that Meepo the Kobold is listed in the last bout of the first round. It would be amusing to see Meepo make it to the final with the Terrasque... and win |

I'm devastated. I bet my student loan on the cube... It was my personal favourite. Over the course of my playing time, the cube has been a perennial favourite with my groups. Just ask Kaladorm what happened to his rogue last time he bumped into (literally) a gelatinous cube. |
Life is either daring adventure or nothing. |

I once had a bad encounter with a gelantinous cube... After the thief walked into it, I decided that my minotaur didn't know enough about the critter to know that reaching in to rescue a friend was a bad idea. |

Mariliths are really better suited toward the role of general or tactician. They can make suitable independent fighters, but their real power is in directing the movements of tanar'ri troops.

Sage I know that the real power of a marilith is in it's ability to be a great tactitian, and general.I just have this little problem with not seeing them as instant offense independantly. And being very good at it.Not just suitable.Even when I used to game.I liked to use them as kick-butt fighters so to speak.Wielding a plethora of weapons.I used to love jacking up my fellow gamers with a marilith. But they are what they are. |

Mmmmm... I think I will give my vote to the Marilith. I do really hate pixies. Have you ever taken the wings from a fly....? |

"Grynerstempos" Advanced Belkar Soul Eater
Did they spell it wrong? Or has the update to 3.5 edition changed īBelkerī to īBelkarī?
Sad to see the cube go down ... this week I voted for that dragon/naga... wouldnīt want an Eberron monster to win |

Both seem rather bland this time around. However, I voted for "Ellith'rin as I'm even less impressed with the warforged ninja.
Everything I've voted for has lost so far :p |

I know I'm being petty, but I voted AGAINST the warforged . . . ever since I read all those editorials in Dragon that basically seemed to be saying that if we all didn't embrace Steam Punk and Harry Potter being assimilated into a D&D setting that we would be the cause of the demise of D&D, I have had a major chip on my shoulder against Eberron. Its not even the fault of the setting but the marketing.
I still have a hard time with the reasoning that said modern kids didn't get into traditional fantasy, when I know I saw a lot of smaller humanoids at the LOTR movies when I went and also at Wal Mart buying all of the action figures . . . hm . . . they must have just be halflings. |

True. I also voted against the warforged, pretty much for the same reasons. I just donīt like Eberron as a setting very much, although I donīt see it as the fault of the marketing, since I have been trying my best to ignore this mixed concept of "Steampunk & Fantasy"... an unholy marriage if there ever was one

Have been paying some attention, however not as much.
Clearly the Beholder is at disadvantage. |

This competition needs a good scandal to generate interest. Something like Paula Abdul sleeping with one of the monsters. |
