It does indeed. Shall we go and ask if we can borrow it for a session? |

You'd think that Dubya would play third edition, since he seems to enjoy Attacks of Opportunity so much. |

Probably for the Cavalier core class (the original U.A.). Nice to know he's using the module I sent him, even if they're not using S&P! |

Very amusing.
But let's keep politics out of Candlekeep. Trust me, if we start talking about it, things will get hotter than the Plane of Fire pretty quickly.
And that's just with me alone. |

Indeed. It is amusing, but I'd prefer to avoid the wrath of Big Al (at least in this case ). |

Good reminder. I'll be curious to see if the thread can stay out of that danger zone. |

Dubya: "You're all in a tavern drinking, and a multitude of people about you are whispering of the recent disaster's that have befallen the town...."
Ashcroft: "Oooh! I cast "Improved Patriot Act", does that tell me what all everyone is saying and thinking regardless of privacy?!"
Dubya: "Ahh, wait a sec on the spell, ahh....." *looks to Cheney, who nods* "Ahh, yeah, the spell works. The spell is a good one, one that is crucial to the welfare of the town, one that has my full support, one that...." *rambles a bit more until interrupted*
Rumsfeld: "Wait, if we're in the tavern, who's patrolling the streets? We just took over this town, we're not ready to withdraw to the tavern!"
Dubya: "Well, ahh, everyone's there except Powell's Paladin. Oh, and make a saving throw Powell, your man and his horse just got hit by a fireball doing 138 damage, save for half...."
Powell: "But 'Future COntender' and his horse '2008' only have 41 hit points combined!"
Dubya: "Well, he's toast along with his horse, sorry. DOn't feel bad, we'll try to get you in the next game..."
Rice: "I can sit in for him! *grabs her dice* Oh, and I ressurect his horse...."

I generally find that when people have to ask such a question, they already know the answer. |

It is funny, but it dances on the line of being political, in my opinion. I can laugh at such a thing, but not every one will.
Big Al, I move that we quit tempting fate, and lock this scroll away for safekeeping. |
