Hello, fellow realms fans. Finally, someone to talk to about my obsession with Faerun. I was just wondering, too, if you guys ever discuss core rules, and if so, whereabouts? Under core products, maybe? Anyway, this is the first time I've ever posted on a forum, and I only recently got a computer, so please forgive me if I seem somewhat illiterate in such things.
Happy postings.

Hi there. Welcome.
As to discussing Core rules, I would point you to:
General Forgotten Realms Chat, as to how core rules effect FR. Running the Realms, for much the same reason. D&D Core Products
beyond that as you explore this site odds are good you will find at least some aspects of core rules discussed in other sections.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. |

Welcome to Candlekeep!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay! |

Welcome Mareka,

Welcome Mareka! Realms lore is a good obsession as Sirius said. There is always something good to learn pretty much every day here at the keep. Oh, and do pipe-in with comments of your own! |

Welcome Mareka!
I only recently found my here also. Fear not. No one seems to mind a few gaffs here and there! I have discovered that others are very helpful (Read that THANK YOU everyone!) You sure will find a font of wisdom here. Also: If you read any of the FR novels be sure to stop by the threads. They're cool. The Hammer of Moradin just started a new thread there "Author's Forum." That's way cool. Enjoy your stay! Wiz in the Northlands. |
A woman, or a man, may come to hold many treasures in life. Gold, gems, a good name, lovers, good friends, influence, high rank--all of these are of value. All of these most covet. But of them all the most valuable, I tell ye, are friends good and true. Have these, and ye will scarce notice the lack if ye never win aught else."
