So how many of you have any custom created monsters that were made by some insane Wizard or maybe even a nutty follower of Gond?

I like drippiness.

EDIT: Awww, why was my title edited? I thought it was cool.

"Paladine, you see the evil that surrounds me! You have been witness to the calamities that have been the scourge of Krynn... You must see now that this doctrine of balance will not work! I can sweep evil from this land. Destroy the ogre races. Bring the wayward humans into line! Find new homelands far away for the dwarves and the kender and the gnomes, those races not of your creation... I demand that you give me, too, the power to drive away the shadows of evil that darken the land!"- THE REIGN OF ISTAR, Tales IV

Perhaps you should have started a poll. I have not had any any Wizards or Grod followers create new monsters or races, however know a few that have.

"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards."
"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Yes, but it didn't exactly inspire people to come and take a look unless they were looking for humor (it looked like a title of a joke).

You can always add it to the body of the message.

It was meant as an attention grabber. Oh well. I will post a monster tomorrow.

Trust me on this. When people are browsing through and not clicking on every post, they normally don't recall which topic is which unless the title describes it properly. Alaundo must not have felt that the topic really said what you wanted it to say (namely, read this if you want custom monsters). It wasn't done as a slap in the face or anything -- I've had topic titles edited by Alaundo as well. He does it because sometimes he'd prefer a particular topic not to be ignored by people who don't know just what it is.

Well met

Thank ye Bookwyrm Indeed, Gellion. In a library with numerous scrolls and tomes, it is helpful to be as specific as possible as to the title. Remember, some scribes use the scrying room to search for particular words in the title also. As it stood, thy scroll could have been easily overlooked, which i'm sure ye wouldn't want Certainly, no offence was meant.

Now, back to the topic. I'm quite looking forward to reading some of the creations herein

once when we were in elementary school we had a demigod;
and it was called "the soul-stealer"(don't blame me as 12-13 year olds the mightiest name we found was THIS)
and he was a nice guy, when he killed an enemy he would drain his/her hitpoints and add them up to his
unbeatable heh!

I am Cyric, the One and the All, God of Murder and Intrigue, Patron of Deception and Chaos, Prince of Lies, the Dark Sun, rightful Lord of the Dead, Cyric-on-a-stick, and known to some as "the Mad God." I welcome you to The Land of the Dead...

I think there was a scroll similar to this one about a year ago... If I remember correctly we had thought up of:
1) the Toe Jabber - lurking around the households
2) Demonic "pet" Bunny - always nice to play with
*searching memory banks... no other found* Sorry that was all I could remember.

“Darkness beyond twilight, crimson beyond blood that flows! Buried in the flow of time. In thy great name. I pledge myself to darkness. All the fools who stand in our way shall be destroyed…by the power you and I possess! DRAGON SLAVE!!!”

"Thieves? Ah, such an ugly word... look upon them as the most honest sort of merchant."

In Sage's Magic Shop? It'd be pretty hard to run a store with monsters running around. (That's just only the customers)
