I really cannot remember alot, but it was absolutely terrifying. I checked the easterly sundial, only to find out that it was nearly sunset: evil spirits would soon well be out of their resting places and around me. But, against all rules made, I carried on climbing through the mass of hedgerows, ferns and grasses which lay beneath the canopy of the dark forests around me. I was always told as a boy that after the sun had set, I should never go out, and that anything could happen if I was on my own. But this time was an exception- I had to know why. If only the wizard I was looking for had told me why, why he had to kill the neighbourhood around me. It was total torture, he had killed everyone around me but me, and he had left a message on my doorstep written in blood. You see, Karanthias is the holder of all evils, the king of darkness, the spellmaster of the underworld. But he did not have to do this. This was bloodcurdling by far.

After hours of negotiating the mass of natural force in the forests around me, I arrived at the hollow where he lived with the group of orcs. The sky was a very dark shade of grey, and I felt as if I was forbidden to enter. But I did enter, clinging on to my sword as if nobody could defeat me. Of course, I knew that he was the wizard who could have me dead at the click of a finger, but I was not scared, just confident in order to find out his darkest of secrets.

The dirty corridor was long and narrow, like a beehive waiting to collapse with the amount of clutter inside it. And there I saw him, Karinthias, his club in his hand, and a mage standing next to him. A deep chill aroused the hairs on my neck, and I ran, screaming. This was surely the end of my life.

Excellent Exilion! Really chilling, made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck

Is there any more to this story? As it is written in first-person, I assume that the last line wasnt true for the character?

A great short tale nevertheless!!
