Boy! I haven't pulled out the Kara-Tur books and awhile. The cleaning ladies have missed this part of the library for a while...
The main books from the box set have a section on monasteries and Temples of the Shou Lung priesthood: The Strong Claw Order, Order of Silence (Order of the Cobra), Order of the Nimble Hunter, Order of the White Crane, Order of the Dragon. Other regions have religions and temples that support other monks.
I'm not familiar enough with the setting to pick them all out without some study. Those are from just a quick peek into the books. I would be at a loss oon how to compare/contrast the ethnic groups due to my unfamiliarity with the setting.

If you want non-canon, there's a list of monk orders in the main library that was put together a while back. Some of it's actually too amusing to put in (please note the monks of Chauntea!), but it's a good source.
However, if you want "Oriental-style" monks, there aren't many of those in the Realms. Since you want information on the Shou, then I assume you want orders in that region. I unfortunately don't have much information on that -- I'm sure others will. |

WotC has a couple of free downloads that has to do with the Oriental Adventures: Mad Monkey vs. the Dragon Claws, Ronin Challenge, Test of the Samurai.

As for monk orders that are oriental-like, there's no real definite ones like that. It's more like different sects and their locations. For example, Shar's monks in the East might be more oriental than the ones she has in like Calimport because of different cultures and members in those regions. |
