I'll already spending a signficant portion of my pay packet in various online stores at the moment. Spending more probably wouldn't be a good idea, not with the little one on the way... .

Finally! That is one thing that has always bothered me. I have a couple of giant frogs, a huge praying mantis, and several other creatures that I never use, but no mounted knights? Made no sense. Finally they throw us a bone.

Now that, is impressive.

Looks like I'll be loosening my purse strings rather frequently next month.

Actually, if anything, they remind me of the warwolves from the Mojoverse in the various X-Men titles.

You know whats even funnier

Steel Predators are Planar creatures (they come from Acheron)

In the 2nd Aliens movie the planet that the colonists have set on is called Acheron

Whoever wrote up the Steel Predator in Fiend Folio had a wicked sense of humour

I don't particularly like the Djinni. It looks almost too stereotypical...

The efreet is nicer, and more appealing... but then, I've always been a fan of those who dwell in the City of Brass .

The djinni doesn't bother me at all... After reading Weis & Hickman's Rose of the Prophet trilogy, I can easily see a djinn looking like that.

the Mark of Heroes Standards RPGA document mentions the following

Talenta Halfling Ranger
Cleric of Dol Arrah (Human)
Dwarf Wizard
Dwarf Raider

The first 2 are believed to be from that "Other" setting that WOTC publish

For some reason the Bear just looks damn funny...kinda like a demented Yogi after the Ranger has taken away his picnic basket once too often.
