Just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone. I hope I'll be around for a while to get to know others.

Welcome to Candlekeep!

Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!

As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!

Well met,

Many of us are also refugees from the WOTC boards because of thier novel closing rules that came into effect months ago. I, for one, am still slugging it out over there though but sooner or later I will be banned. :) Also cause I debate things with people to much over there.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Welcome to the halls of Candlekeep, Effect. We are all reasonable folk in these parts - as long as you keep fire from the library. Enjoy your stay and I am sure Alaundo will be contacting you soon.

Hello!

Nice to meet you, Effect!

And like marked pages in a diary
Everything seemed clean that is unstained
The incoherent talk of ordinary days
Why should we really need to live
