what are all the different known coins in the realms? the names of these would also be helpful. i know the names of the same coinage may vary depending on where you are. ive heard the silver coins in Sembia are called 'ravens' and gold coins are called 'fivestars' but are these names used in other lands as well? my thanks

Cormyr uses lions for their gold coins. Also, Sembians call their platinum coins, "suns".

I think this list has been compiled on the WOTC forums. I'm not sure if it is a complete listing, though. It would be a very long listing, as money does change from land to land, though the face value of a gold coin is usually standard.

Here's a listing I've come across before. I'm not sure on its accuracy or comprehensiveness.

No idea. I haven't gotten a chance to look over it that much. I just stumbled across the page in one of my searches for some other Realms information. There is a great deal of Realms information, including published works, online these days.

I took a glance at it, and I saw some strange stuff in the languages section. Like a language called Chesso, and no mention of Chondathan.... A couple of other references were clearly Dragonlance-inspired (Takanesti?). So I'd not put a whole lot of faith in that particular website.

The old Forgotten Realms Adventures hardcover had info on coinage in the Realms.
