I'm in the middle of compiling a detailed history Lolth, Drow, etc for the use in an NWN module. I was hoping someone could tell me something about a "Kethryllia Amarillis" as refered to by this site:
http://trismegist.nm.ru/de_l_eng.html
quote:
Lolth's attentions were drawn once again
to Abeir-Toril by the intrusion of the moon elven heroine Kethryllia
Amarillis into her domain, and the Spider Queen immediately began to
cultivate followers among the most cruel and corrupt of Corellon's
children in Faerun.

Thanks in advance

Someone please tell me where to buy FR books in Australia!! Pretty Please...

Refer to the novel Evermeet: Island of the Elves, by Elaine Cunningham. 'Tis an excellent read, and will answer your question.

Argh! I don't know where to buy D&D books in Australia. None of the major bookstores stock any of them. I found the Avatar Trilogy at a Book exchange, and Dark Elf trilogy was the only D&D novel my local library has...

Looks like its Amazon.com for me...

We do have a couple of Australian scribes in these halls... Perhaps one of them could help out?

Also, I always recommend eBay to people searching for Realms goodies...

Hehe... Lina and I have just been discussing this over PM. We've been working on a listing of places in Perth (and Australia) where one can purchase D&D books. So, I guess the blessing of Lady Tymora is indeed with you this day, Shayan .

Contact me privately, by either ethereal mail or by using the private message function here in the library, and I'll see about sending that listing your way...

Kethryllia Amarillis is the Archmage of the ancient elven city of Sharlarion, named after Sharlario Moonflower. In the autumn of the Year of Singing Sirens, a massive horde of orcs were attacking elven cities and Sharlarion was one of the few that remained standing. The elves of Sharlarion fought off the orc horde, but Kethryllia's betrothed, Anarallath who is a priest of Labelas Enoreth, was taken into the Abyss by a Haeshkarr. The archmage then followed into the Abyss and armed with her powerful sword, Dharasha, she eventually met up with Kiaralansee (sp?), who was amused by this elven warrior.

Kiaralansee made a pact with Kethryllia, which was that in order for the goddess to tell her the location of Anarallath, Kethryllia had to proclaim the name of her god, Corelleon Larethian, every time she killed a tanarri.

This then drew the attention of Lolth, who scried on Kethryllia and what was happening on Faerun. It was through this scrying she discovered a dark elven army led by a powerful drow named Ka'Narlist. He had planted a dagger with the elves of Sharlarion and with it he could scry on them and lead his army to crush them. Lolth was pleased by his powers and evilness and decided to steal away this follower of Ghaundaur.
