Is it just me or was the book slow? We saw more about the relationships between the group less action (than i'd like to) and many things that made me want book 4 a lot more! (What happened to Gromph? Selvetarm or Vhaeraun? Siege of Menzoberranzan: How where and when will Gromph deliver whoopass? will he order dessert later?)But other than that...... (The beholder mage scene was short and unnecessary!)
Mr Baker is an outstanding writer but i think the story he had to write doesn't compliment his talents.
p.s.Hooray for the dead priestess of Elistriaeisjdieskcnw!! I hate them! LOL

Aye, it may be just thee, Fredegar The White  I loved this particular tome and indeed the whole series. I think that each author has done an amazing job in keeping the flavor of the setting and the individual personalities consistant from book to book.
Remember, if questions aren't answered within the novel you're reading, then they may get answered later in the series  |

And the bad thing about reading Fareun sourcebooks like crazy is that you find out about stuff before you read them in a book.

At least the spoilers in FR game supplements ends, I believe, with Book 3. After that, you're on your own. Unless you read the spoiler-iffic scrolls on here...

You're correct. The timeline found in the PGTF is also useful to anyone interested in exact dates on series' events. |
