Had a survey from Bioware in my inbox the other day asking amongst other things if I would pay for online only official expansions. I think that it would be good for them to release new modules but they were only talking about a max of 10-20 hours gameplay. What do you all think?

Ummmm, definitly not. No way in the hells. I think NWN is just outdated, personally. I used to be a huge fan. I'd rather have them working on NWN 2 then another boring module. Unless they want to add official spells, items, and things that everyone has and you don't need a hak. pack for. But really, I'm not at all interested, and if they want to make a pack, yes, go ahead bioware, but I don't want to spend the money when, if I wanted, I could just go to nwn vault and download some. I say _nay_ to the idea. |

Uhm, why? Obsidian's the one working on NWN 2, not Bioware. |

Your wrong. http://www.atari.com/nwn2/
Bioware is on the bottom. The people from bioware are making it.
Thats why I'd rather have them working on it, rather than an expansion. ... |

Yes...? That's because the Aurora Engine's credited to Bioware. The WotC logo's there, too -- do you think some employees from WotC are working directly on it, perhaps? And oh, on the page you linked to, there's a little message from Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entertainment Inc. What do you think?

I thought that Feargus Urquhart was from bioware????
I'm really confused. Although thankyou for brining it to my attention. ^_^
O well, it's really a trivial matter, the only thing I'm waiting for is D&D Online, NWN 2, Dragon Age, and KOTOR 2, even though I have nothing near the capable system to run any of them, :-) |

I believe it requires a time machine, at the very least. |

Actually, Bioware just gets credit because they programmed the engine. However, right now Bioware is working on two games: Jade Empire and Dragon Age. They're focusing more on their own intellectual property for the moment, although MS is after them to do another Star Wars game. |

Ugh, Jade empire looks so overrated. I really have no interest for that game, I just like the D&D stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I think Bioware is focusing *way* too much on that game. Although I'm a highly biased gamer soo, I hope I don't sound rude. Anyways, Dragon Age *sounds* And, from like the three pictures, looks like it is going to be kick arse. I wish I could *see* more pics of it.-- |
