The Bookwyrm is correct. The current character listing for the campaign is now set, although I've added you to the so-called "Diviner's List". You'll be receiving details soon.
Oh and, "Perspex the Opaque"... Was this intentional?

Indeed it was Although I was toying with the idea of introducing the most obnoxiuos dwarf ever to walk the realms: Porki Thule (Thule pronounced as tool) A dwarf who had been thrown out of the dwarven afterlife fot being drunk & disorderly & that's the least of his misdemeanors Thanks anyway for placing me on the diviner's list . |

Yes... this might be a problem. Although Bookwyrm's Jack of Earth seems to be able to pick up on any language thanks to some ability or magical item (according to his chronicles), so I'm not too worried here.
If you want a detailed accounting of my character (ranks, mundane gear, description of his Mastiff Hound mount), be sure to check my first post in this thread, where I have inserted a link to my Excel Character Sheet. Click 'yes' if your computer asks you "This file contains macros: do you want to trust this document, etc." as the Character Sheet is loaded with drop down menus, a dicebot, and plenty of other features. I picked it up on the d20_spreadsheet Yahoo Group... very handy. |

An excellent point PDK .
I'll admit that this was not something I had considered greatly when it came to the notion of planar languages. I might discuss this with the Bookwyrm and see what we can come up with together.

I'd be more curious as to how Rondel got so dang many hp using the formula we are following (to my knowledge). ;)
I'm hoping to become a Goldeye with my characte Naglas. I'm further hoping that Sage will accept my suggestion that speak language be added as a skill to the 3.5 edition version of this prestige class since it seems to fit the prc (and speak language was not a skill when the prc was created). If so, I'll be picking up some useful languages most likely as we continue.
Here's Naglas:

He wears a carefully trimmed van dyke goatee. He is well-tanned and his face is pre-maturely lined as if he's spent a lot of time in the elements.

Another interesting suggestion that I seem to have forgotten about, since I now recall it being mentioned at an earlier date .
What does everyone else think about Sarta's option on speak languages?

I don't see any problem here. It sounds good, I think we will need all the help we can get in the language department |

HP: 29 (based on max for first level and 50% per Hit die afterwards)
I thought we had settled on max for first TWO levels then 75% afterwards... down from full on max hit die for EVERY level, as originally suggested by Bookwyrm but revised due to MY suggestion that combats would be too long if monsters were also with max hps... I'll be happy to downgrade my PC to max 1st + 50% afterwards if that's what the character creation guidelines call for though (by the way, where can I find these without having to slug through thousands of old posts?)
Edit: Sarta, I'm fairly certain we settled on full first two, then 75% afterwards because I was one of the first two or three to fully stat out my character and post it under the "PBeM with Sage" thread, and I remember getting Sage's approval that everything was kosher after making the revisions he had suggested for me. |

So Sage which is it? If it's full for the first 2 then 75% I have some changes I need to make. No complaints here since it'll help Kelly's survival for sure.
Lessee HP would be... 6 -1 / 4 -1/ 3 -1 x5 so 18 hp instead of 11. I'm all for it. |

Sage also said we would roll our own stats in the very beginning So HP isn't the only thing that has changed.
If I remember right we decided on the full at first then 50% after for 2 reasons. 1. Battles go by a lot faster. 2. 50% is WAY easier to calculate than 75% |

I believe you have me on your diviner's list, Sage. It was a while back though. If not please add me. |

It's full hit points for the first level, then 50% every level after that, with the Con modifier added last.
As to languages, I think that a trade-based PrC would likely pick up languages very easily. And as far as Jack's little ring is concerned, it's statted in the Magic Shop; if you take a look, you'll see it can only be used for a total of fifty minutes per day (in ten-minute increments). Beyond that, Jack will have to use his own magic to cast comprehend languages or tongues -- or, as is already planned, Kelly will translate at times, at least until Jack can gain a level and learn Common.
I hope to roleplay learning that as we go along. I can imagine an NPC thinking "This man can only speak a pidgin of the common trade language! What an obvious idiot. I'm surprised he can tie his boots." |
Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.

Nah... most likely you will only have an annoying gnome bugging you to explain how Reverse Osmosis or other Earthly water-filtration techniques work... |

Here is Mourn Ex-Dlardrageth
Name: Mourn Ex-Dlardrageth (Aka Taeghen Turanruth) Class: Sorcerer 6 Race: Fey'ri - Demon Elf (Usually seen as a Sun Elf) Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Deity: Fenmarel Mestarine Appearance: Mourn is well into his second century and has a wiry-thin build. He stands almost six feet tall and is usually dressed in flowing black and green robes. Underneath can be seen the occaisonal hint of armor. He has the golden eyes of a Sun Elf and flowing blond hair.
If someone should ever see him when he isn't disguised (or makes a DC 27 Spot check) they will see that he actually has Red Eyes, and is heavily tattooed in Abyssal text. Ohh, and he has wings as well.

If you don't mind adding one more to the List....
add me, add me! Or this cute doggie gets it! |
I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be. (Strikes dramatic pose, raises sword to gleam in the sunset, and hopes breeches won’t fall down.) Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . . So saith Ed. <snip> love to all, THO
