I know this is more of a techincal problem than a Realms query, but you guys were the first people I thought of. Sorry if what follows is a little off topic.
I recently bought Baldur's Gate and Tales of the Sword Coast. Although I already owned the game, I had to buy it again for the expansion. I uninstallled the previous 5 disk version, and installed the 3 disk version with TotSC. It seems to run fine, but when I leave the map, and click on another location on the world map, specifically the location I need to get to in Baldur's Gate itself, it asks to insert disk 2. Upon inserting the disk I am greeted with a message saying there is no disk in my CD drive. The game then crashes.
After several weeks hunting for the expansion, I really don't want to revert to reinstall the 5 disk version again. Any clues on what to do?
Again, sorry that this isn't a Realms question, but I'm really stumped on it.

did you install the Totsc patch?
You can still get it off the bioware site.
Disk 2 when you have installed Totsc is the totsc disk, not the bg disk 2. |
