I tried to find a description of the dress and equipment for members of the Argent Legion, and came up short. Does anyone have a physical description of them. I know they show up in Forsaken House, but I'm not to where they are introduced beyond Methrammer. Looked in the Silver Marches and I know how many troops are stationed where, but not much else besides that and their tower/headquarters.

P. 90 of Silver Marches: "The current commitments to the Argent Legion include 200 Knights in Silver from Silverymoon, 250 Iron Guard from Citadel Adbar, 200 Shieldsar from Sundabar, 100 archers and cavalrymen from Everlund's Army of the Vale, 50 dwarves from Citadel Felbarr, and 50 from Mithral Hall, for a total strength of 850 troops. [...] For now, the Legion's forces are assigned as follows: 200 in Citadel Felbarr, 200 in Sundabar, 50 in Jalanthar and 400 in Rauvinwatch Keep [...]"

We can safely assume that the full commitment from Sundabar (200 Shieldsar - 54% humans, 33% dwarves, 8% rock gnomes) makes up for the entire Argent Legion company of 200 stationed in Sundabar (See below (under FELBARR) for the composition of the Argent Legion company stationed in Felbarr).

Now, as to what they would look like, Silver Marches says (still on p. 90): "These troops are all included in their home cities' descriptions, since commitments and force dispositions vary from tenday to tenday."

From there we get:

SHIELDSAR, p.65: "A Shieldsar patrol rides the wilderlands in full armor, armed with longspears, swords, daggers, battleaxes, and shortbows. They get to know their patrol areas very well, scouring every cave and hill-hollow. Shieldsar leaders are always wary of being outflanked or ambushed, setting scouts on all sides as they patrol." [--> Summary: 200 Shieldsar = Sundabar Argent Legion company of 200] NOTE: These 200 Shieldsar were taken from a total force composed of (p.90): "626 Heavy Infantry, 308 archers, 325 light cavalry, and 173 heavy cavalry."

FELBARR, p. 69: "In addition to the dwarves under King Warcrown, a detachment of 200 soldiers of the Argent Legion is currently posted here. About half are sturdy dwarf infantry from Citadel Adbar, and the rest are Knights in Silver. Under the command of paladin Jandar Starblade, the Argent Legion company vigorously patrols the nearby Moonlands and the Rauvin foothills." [--> Summary: 100 Iron Guard + 100 Knights in Silver = Felbarr Argent Legion company of 200] NOTE: the 50 dwarves provided by Felbarr to the Argent Legion do not serve in Felbarr (not mentioned where). However, they were taken from the Citadel Guards of Citadel Felbarr, which are composed of (p.89): "401 Heavy Infantry, 250 crossbowmen and 131 warpony cavalry."

IRON GUARD, p.70: "Patrols mounted on warponies [...]"; p.89: "Iron Guard: 1,404 heavy infantry, 601 crossbowmen, 451 warpony cavalry"

If you haven't already, take a look at this Rand's Travelogue. It provides some information on the patrols for this group.

Thanks PDK. That is somewhat what I figured since it did not give a specific description. I even looked for Methrammer's description for the uniform the leaders might wear.

This is one of the articles I was able to find. Helpful, but not exactly what I needed. Sirius, didn't you finish Forsaken House already? Did you find anything in there? Especially with Methrammer.

Yes, Methrammer is featured prominently leading troops in the novel.
