I need to get a few names of the taverns & pubs from the docks distict in the City of Coin for a campaign I'm setting up via email. My PC is 2500 miles from me at the moment and I can't remember the names from Bg2.
Thanks

Volo's Guide to Baldur's Gate II lists a wave district and river district, but no docks district. Which one were you thinking of? |

Thanks for the into Dargoth.
Wasn't there 3 pubs/taverns in the docks district though? The Sea Bounty, The Shadow Thieves pub and the the one where there was a quest? It's been a while since I played BG2, might have to fire it up again.

The Mithrest Inn I beleive is one they have drinks don.t they so it's a pub I guess. Also I think there is one named the Seven Vases or something it's in the promenade I have not played Bg2 in a while so forgive any mistsakes. |

The Mithrest Inn and the Den of Seven Vales are both in the Promenade.
From my BG2 experience, there's only the Sea Bounty Tavern in the Dock's District.
The "Shadow Thieves" Pub you are talking about, Talwyn, is really just part of the so-called Shadow Thieves hideout. |

May be my memory is going , it's been a while since I played BG2. But seriously I did think there was another bar. Isn't the Sea Bounty the place where that guy curses Jaheira? And the other pub is where the shdaow thieves send you to expose & kill that "rogue" thief who's name escapes me now. As I remember that layout of the docks district, The Sea bounty is halfway down that main stairway to the dock area. The other pub is down there, not far from Cromwells workshop.

Ah, yes! You are correct. However, the name escapes me right now. It's Mae'Var's guildhouse though. I was thinking taverns so I didn't think of that one. That place is a real bar, where it's only for drinks and bartering. |
