Well, I already have the first three of those, so my list only has three of your remaining four items. I'm sure you remember that I spoke previously about what I intend to do when the MMIII is released.

The Radeon is a superb graphics card. I just purchase 3 cards for my system last week. It's totally revolutionised the way I've been playing games on the network.
How much do you expect to pay for a new processor? When I purchased a 10 GHz chip for my latest machine, it cost me several hundred gold pieces...

I'm glad you mentioned this, as I would have pointed it out to you if you hadn't...

Is there anywhere online that we can see the SW minis yet? I haven't found any site on my own.
What's your SW campaign about?

Even if you're not going latest generation for your video card, you might want to wait until the latest-generation cards hit your shores-at that time, the prices on 9800 cards should drop significantly enough to make it worth the wait. Not planning to play Doom 3? |

While I'm certain Alaundo will be disappointed by the fact that this scroll contains little in the way of actual Realmslore, I'd just like to respond to something that Arivia just said.

That's a few months wait, at the very least. You can't expect Realms CRPGers to wait that long to play some of their favorite games, surely?

It's going to take that long for the X800 and such to wind their way down there? Wow. Oh, and remember, we're not talking about the Realms or CRPGs here, just D3 and HL2. I do applaud his decision to go with ATI's selections, however-the performance hit on D3 is not much when compared to the performance hit nVidia's products are apparently going to have with HL2... |

Oh... I didn't think about this with regards to playing D3. I'd forgotten about that... Silly old Sage

That's only an approximation. It could change, but there's been little demand for the cards here of late...

No surprise, in the face of nVidia's latest offerings, especially with regards to the next Farcry patch(as it's the Game of the Moment, so to speak) and the hardware test results for Doom 3...Anyway, in a weak attempt to steer this back towards board relevancy, what are you planning to do when the MMIII comes out? |

I intend to wait for detailed reviews of the tome, basically. Only then, will I decide on whether it's worth me parting with some of my hard-earned gold pieces. And, I have several other tomes to purchase at roughly the same time as MMIII's release date. They must take priority.
I've never been that fond of WotC monster books. The only tomes I've purchased from WotC that detail monsters are those that relate to my interests. FF would be the most obviously example, as would MMII with it's heavy planar content. But, for some reason, from the listing of creatures detailed in the MMIII that you posted several weeks ago, I've found nothing that even remotely interests me.

Well, I'll be sure to provide you with one, if I get it around it's release date.
In contrast, I do like WotC's offerings in that field-they tend to present monsters I find quite interesting. Then again, I'm not one for more types of more "mundane" creatures-I like them a bit more magically-infused, I suppose. |

That's good to hear. I'll look forward to it.
I suppose that, if I didn't also have several other tomes from various publishers to purchase, I'd most likely buy the MMIII... if for nothing else but it's possible usage in my upcoming Eberron campaign which starts next month -- finally...

MM3 may get chucked from the list and I may have to delay Liberis Mortalis, Shining South and The Two Swords until November.
My current Graphics card is a Dodgy old Geforce 2 so it definately needs replacing especially for Rome Total war and HL2
380-480 for the processor (plus another 180 for a new mother board)
Im not running the SW campaign (ive decided to see what lifes like on the other side of the Dm screen) One of my players from my Banites on the March Campaign is going run it (Hopefully hes forgeten about that Tiefling Rogue he was playing who coup d'gas's by the drow in BOTM
Pics of Star wars minis can be found here

Thanks Dargoth. I'll have to put some gold pieces aside for these then. I wonder though... will we be seeing any minor Sith characters?

Dargoth, maybe you should rob the bank to get the money you need for all these goodies you want. Lol. After all like you said, your bank manager is not going to be too happy anyways, so you might as well get him even more pissed. |
