Then please allow me to be the first scribe to welcome you here, in the library of Candlekeep.

Please, enjoy your stay. And remember, no foods or beverages of any kind are permitted within these halls. I'm sure every scribe here remembers what happened when the Cardinal (in one of his usual drunken "excursions" ) spilled some rather cheap Waterdhavian liquor on the priceless Cycles of the Fifth Fane scrolls...

Quite disappointing indeed...

Here here here now. We were able to lick most of the drink before it soaked into the partchment.... and it gave the scrolls a nice smell...

Hey now... best beware Sage, lest we personally set thee up with an audience with Daruth Winterwood in castle Xaxox. We've been there once and we'll go there again. As our favorite saying goes:
"I will go insane and take you with me!"

It's certainly nothing that I haven't faced before.

Afterall, how many can truly say that they have visited with the Shadow Fiend, and lived to share the tale...

Oh aye perhaps... but not bound up in ladies undergarments! We'll do it. Even if we must pilfer Lady Arivia's stock to tie thee up gnome. It would make for a certainly unique experience no doubt

Obviously, you never attended the after party for my graduation from the Tower of Learning in Palanthus...

Aye, thou art indeed correct. At the time we were busy re-animating our own Guild's turkey feast. A guild under the rulership of that master of Mana, Lim-Dul. A carving knife under one wing, a fork under another, yes a terrifing sight.May the images of undead roast turkeys haunt thy dreams Sage

::The Sage quickly casts a cantrip which creates an image of the Yellow Sign in the immediate vicinity of the Cardinal. The Sage simply smiles, and begins the incantation to open a portal. Looking around at the Cardinal, who now stands wide-eyed and bewildered, the Sage enters the purple haze of the portal, and disappears...

*Gnaws on his upper lip
Thou shalt not escape a servant of the master of R'lyeh.
* Deimos casts a spell from the Book that he had stashed beneath his breastplate. A gate opens up and as he walks through the sound of waves can be heard and the smell of salt lays thick in the air*
