Anyone have any ideas on how to correctly pronounce Halruaa?
I've been saying "Hal-roo-ay-ah". And when I REALLY want to sound clever, I say "Hal-ryo-ay-ah"...
Any ideas?

From the Master himself (Ed Greenwood, of course, who created that land; I watched him draw a map of its northern vales once, long long ago):
“Hal-ROO-ah.”
Please note his usual caveat: That’s how it’s pronounced in the Heartlands and in Halruaa itself. Other folks, elsewhere in the Realms and with differing native tongues, may apply other pronounciations.
