Pazio are saying that they ship Dragon to subscribers on the 1st of the month 321 went out to subscribers on June 1st. So subscribers should start getting 322 any day

And stores soon afterwards....I have to wait to buy Dungeon and Dragon together as it's just not wise financially to ship both seperately.

In a perfect world, both will become available at the same time as Serpent Kingdoms.

ENWorld's news page today has details on the contents for Dragon #322. The following is what FR related materials is within the magazine.

quote:

Heroes of the War of the Spider Queen, Part III The third and final installment of Richard Baker's in-depth look into the characters of the popular novel series. Details Halisstra Melarn, Danifae Yauntyrr, and Nimor Imphraezl. 6 pages.

Elminster's Guide to the Realms The Wyrmworks A Horde of Dragons. A shop that sells dragon parts. 4 pages.

Faiths of Faerun Nether Hounds of Kiaransalee Death Pack of the Goddess of Vengeance. Info on the Lady of the Dead and the Nether Hound Ghast. 3 pages.

Faiths of Faerun Deathstalker of Bhaal Murderers of a Dead God. 2 pages on the Deathstalker of Bhaal prestige class.

I hope I didn't miss anything. Talk about a plethora of material for FR fans. What have they been doing? Holding onto all of them for this issue

See, this makes me happy. Wanna know why?

1) We might get an accurate, updated map of Marsember out of the deal.
2) We're getting an adventure set in and around a Faerűnian city, rather than a generic adventure thrown out into "the Realms."
3) It's set in Cormyr (duh!).

What I like most, though, is that Delthrin the Deadmaster is a real character. He appears as far back as Volo's Guide to Cormyr, and to have an existing personality as an adventure villain, rather than one simply made up, is positively splendid. It keeps the world alive, moving, and changing.

I just read through this adventure last night, and it was a very enjoyable read and looks fun to play. As Garen mentions, it uses interesting characters from old Realmslore and builds on them. I do think the original reference to Delthrin is actually Forgotten Realms Adventures, though. :-)

Glad to hear another person enjoyed it. I look forward to getting the magazine as soon as one of the online stores shows it in stock.

How detailed is the map?

Hmm that Deathstalker PrC will come in handy when I make up the Bhaalspawn NPC in my Evil BOM campaign, WOTC could make my Bhaalspawn perfect by including an Assassinesque CLASS in Complete Adventurer (I really dont like the SPell casting Assassin PrC in DMG), that would really make my day

Bhaalspawn? DARGOTH?!?!?

*Sit quietly for a moment to avoid heart attack*

They arn't official, are they?

Seriously: What brought you around to using Bhaalspawn?

EDIT: Reading the first post - Dragon #321 also has 'Gods of the Forgotten Realms' in big writing on the front (is that what you meant?) and no mention of them within. Unless they are being as cheap and underhand as is possible - and referring to the passing references to Arvoreen and Mask...

I noticed that, too, and was most irked about it.

I finally got the two tomes today. I see Danifae finally got a write up in the WOTSQ article in Dragon. I'm trying to figure out if the new art image in the article is her.

I'm also glad I have THO's Marsember comments to refer to when going through the FR adventure in Dungeon. That magazine certainly has a nice design from what I recall in the past.

Oh, and anyone out there wish the giant Ebberon poster map that came with my Dungeon? I think it's safe to say I won't have any use for it. Please email me if interested.

Well met

Indeed, the "Marsember, mended!" collection of Realmslore is quite a rare find, it has been duplicated and displayed in the library for all.
