Hello scribers,

I'm a retired cartographer and traveler of the realms, and currently have some plans to map Abeir-Toril (or at least, a part of it), this project of mine call for something in the order of a map-a-week, but before starting this endeavor will appreciate some feedback from the adventures that will use the maps.

Here are a couple of samples of maps from the realms and one of another far away land, only the later is finished, and they are just to give a sample of my work and give you a reference to work over when giving me your advice.

Thanks,

Yack

PD The maps will be submitted to the scribes of the keep weekly when they are ready.

Wow, I don't have anywhere in particular I need mapped at the moment, but I'm definitely impressed and look forward to seeing more maps of such high quality.

Impressive!

Very stylish maps

I for one would like to see your take on Turmish since my next campaign will be in that region. It will be a mercenary campaign so that spot was kinda obvious. Preferably with loads of locations please

What kinda mapmaker are you using ?

They are very colorful. Thanks Yack for sharing them as I think they are fine pieces of work. If you are taking requests, I'd love to see any map detailing Cormyr in greater detail than the map provided in the FRCS.

Oh and a detailed map of the Moonshaes would be great as well. I have a campaign planned there

Very nice work on the maps you've posted already. I'd be interested to hear which program you use to create them. I'd like to vote for a map of the Vaasa/Damara/Narfell area, since my current campaign is set there.

I look forward to further contributions!

That is an amazing talent you have Yack. I am sure many more scribes will be flocking around you with hopes of garnering a portion of your time.

Well, all I have to say is...you do fan-freaking-tastic work. I to would be curious to know how you make them, but in any case, to the matter at hand. Mapping any part of the land between Northern Amn and Calimshan would earn you my undying love...er...no that's not a threat...I would just really love to see some nice maps of that area. No, I'm not crazy...at least that's what the voices tell me...my therapist on the other hand...

These are fantastic! I'm happy to see the other scribes' requests.

Teth - will Alaundo be giving Yack a rightful own space on the site?

If he doesn't I will whack him. And then run really fast ... holding my robes up so I can get speed.

Seriously though Yack. Send your maps to me and I will compile them into a webpage for the main Candlekeep site.

If you do cities, then I would love to see Tantras done. I have a few extra street names and sites that Ed posted from another thread that I would love to see added in. Also, if I could somehow entice him to name the various districts of the city, I might be able to supply that.

If you don't do cities, then I would love to see one of either the Vast, the Moonsea, or even the Dragon Reach area.

Much thanks! Great maps.

Great work! I am new to the forgotten realms books, but I am reading the Sembia series so any maps you can do of that area would be awesome!

Again, excellent work.

Excellent choice. I'll second that request. Although lore detailing Sembia is limited, any map of that area would be appreciated.

If you're gonna do Sembia, don't forget to include Fellaren-Krae! This map might come in useful.

Pretty . . . .

In your Sample map, the deep shadow contrast makes the map a trifle noisy. The Faerun maps are just lovely. Excuse me while I go shred my own pitiful attempts . . . .

Any plans to go in for closer detail? I'm drooling at the thought of Waterdeep and the surounding lands in this style. Of course, the level of detail in Waterdeep that I want is a lot of work.

Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.

Hello, here are a few new maps, the "Map-52" is part of 56 maps that will cover the whole Faerun and can be interlock together (same size, scale, resolution, style and colors), more maps at the end of the weekend.
