For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Thanks kuje31. I was just at the official site a couple of hours ago and started to grumble because I saw no new Realms article, but saw that which will not be named had some flashy interactive map.
Storm by Ed Greenwood...this should be fun. |

HAHA Sirius, yes was surprised that we had a new article since that thing that must not be named has been taking up all of WOTC's time. :( |

Thanks for letting us know, Kuje31.
I usually check the Wizards page for updates every night, but it slipped my mind tonight. |

Ooh, now I like this particular update. Storm always has been one of my favorite Realms NPCs. Ed does fine work indeed .

Sirius begins to whistle innocently. "I'm not touching that one...."
I wonder how many installments we can look forward to for this series of articles.

Very nice article. I just hope Ed doesn't dwell too long on Storm's farm - whilst I love the lore, I have quite some very detailed NPCs who are supposed to live/help out there, and I don't want them invalidated. |

Nothing says you can't ignore/alter whatever ends up being shared in this article series if it conflicts with your established lore. |

Yes, but then I'd have to follow up to see how those affect other bits of info I have lying around. So... much... work! |

I suppose we'll have to ask Ed what the Highknight class is... |

Highknight probably refers to the Prestige Class featured in Dragon Annual #5 on page 62. I believe EG has discussed it before within his thread. |

I know Dargoth mentioned it in the new scroll he started, but I thought I'd repeat it here.
Part three is up. |

*sticks tongue out at SB* Nay, I thought it'd be nice to update this scroll, too, since the links to all the Storm articles are here.
Man, here I was, trying to be kind to my fellow scribes, and SB's gotta come along and attack me for it. Lurue's Horn, what have these halls come to?

The sad part is....even with all your smilies....someone might still take you seriously.
I liked the Cormyr noble mention in Storm's article. Mystra's Chosen definitely keep an eye out for that country. |

I hope not... I should not, under any circumstances, be taken seriously!

Yeah - I think this one might be the best so far. A confrontation between Storm and Manshoon? Scary....
I was worried about one detail - an inconspicuous dwarf named Sarrukh? Sounds fishy... or scaly, rather. |

Articles like these should be weekly. As much as I'd like Ed to do them, I know there are others that can 'fill in' from time to time to keep these coming on a regular basis. It gives DM's good ideas, and keeps the masses happy! |
