Hey all,
Could anyone please tell me where exactly the final battle between the Harpers and the forces of Sammaster took place? The one where Sammaster fought Lathander and shed the god's blood. There are some notes detailing the battle on pg. 19 of the "Cult of the Dragon" Accessory, but it is all so confusing. Could Anyone help me out here please? Thank you.

Volo's Guide to All Things Magical has that relic written up in it as well as a brief run down on that battle.... |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I think it was in the Dalelands, near Battledale. From what I recall, there is a small down in Battledale that has a shrine to Lathander. The artifact of Lathander's blood is in that shrine, lost and forgotten.
I could be wrong, though. |

Yep, the "Cult of the Dragon" accessory confirms that the Harper ambush occurred just outside of Hap.

Some little intuitive part of me wanted to say Hap, but I figured I would be wrong. Why is it that I can recall the most trivial and non-important information with suprising clarity, but I can't seem to remember to take the trash out on the correct day? |

I'll bet if Sammaster was in charge of sanitation you would remember. |

No, it did not take place in Saerloon. Two different sourcebooks, Volos Guide to All things Magical and the Cult of the Dragon Book, say so.

you can download the second edition books (such as cult of the dragon, volo's guide to all things magical, and lands of intrigue(which i think includes sembia, home of the biggest cult cell))
