Just wondering if there are any Realms-famous elves that are still living (other than Drizzt maybe, but TBH I can't remember if he's actually still alive or not, I didn't read all the books).
There seem to be a lot of humans who are "special" and have been around forever, who may have died but came back, or who maybe died recently but WERE famous and whose legacy is still felt, etc. But I'm drawing a blank if there are any elves who fit the bill.
Elves are my favorite race, and it always seemed odd to me that the longest-lived race had so comparatively few (at least in my understanding) examples of still-living, powerful and famous members.
Maybe it can be explained because the "time" of the elves is more-or-less gone? Mostly relegated to history and ruins?
