I'm looking to get inspired. I'd like to set a game in Tethyr. I got Lands of Intrigue (in fact, reading it right now!). And yes, I could set the Keep on the Borderlands there. After all, I remember what other scribes said on the Keep.

My reason is mysterious. I'd like to keep it that way.

So, I'll accept published adventures in Tethyr as well. I have played the Baldur's Gate series, where Throne of Bhaal was set in Tethyr. I've played the game where my character becomes a god (the new Bhaal). However, I wanted to set a first level party there, instead of a 20th level one. So, suggestions?

Nothing beats the Lands of Intrigue box set, nothing. You can check out the FR wiki for some links to other nuggets, but that's it. Of course, depending on the era you're playing in, you'd probably want to also check out whatever the most current campaign setting book says too. https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Tethyr

Don't know where exactly you're planning to put KotB in Tethyr, but the farther east you go, the easier it'll fit.

Only other sources on Tethyr and environs that leap to mind would be Castle Spulzeer (a Ravenloft FR crossover module) and the core materials from 4E and 5E that touch on Tethyr. Beyond there, there's just the random natter online by me and others since 1997 when LoI got published.

Steven
who's playing a bit with Tethyr and Amn in the background and may have something to show for it this year if he can get his crap together….

Thanks, Tom and Steven, for your insights. I'm surprised that you, Steven, talked about it. Anyhow, Tom's right, the boxed set is tough to beat.
