My party is heading into the marshes and swamps west of the Stormhorn mountains and I was hoping to be able to add some locations that they may venture to on purpose, or by failure of navigation.

Some of these places I've already noted some:

Threetrees: Former bandit camp of Thalim Torchtower. Was this location abandoned? Thalim was a presence in the 1400s, but my game is happening in the late 1500s. If they ventured to it, would they find anything but the mouldering ruins of bandit endeavours?

Terrinton: It is noted as a presence and on the FR Wiki they only use the past tense to refer to it. What happened to this once prosperous village? Destroyed in the Spellplague or Sundering? Swallowed by the expansion of the marshes?

Nyka's Rest: Active or inactive, it still remains a location to visit. Probably the small town has maintained the temple or grown?

What else is known about Swampgate or Swords Hollow or Wyrmhall?

Were these places that were known at all outside of the frontiers of Cormyr or suspected locations of Lizardfolk, bandits, and other people lost to time? Certainly there are ruins uncharted of long forgotten civilisations and people, partially or entirely drowned and swallowed by the expanding marshes.

Thank you for your patience and shared knowledge.
