Is there a place to discuss the Forgotten Realms with other systems other than Dungeons and Dragons? It's here, Running the Realms, correct? I once converted Forgotten Realms to Rolemaster, and we had a blast -- although I wasn't as a good a GM/DM then as I am now (and I'm trying to become a Storyteller).

As far as I can tell, the conversion will be easy from D&D to Rolemaster. Sure, I can convert a few monsters to Creatures and Monsters statistics (the guidelines are in Creatures and Monsters). Also, I just need to add a few races (drow, grugach, star elves, etc.) So, why I'm doing this? Shh, I won't reveal that. It's a secret.

This shelf works the best. We’ve had previous discussion of alternate game systems used for Realms campaigns, like GURPs and PATHFINDER for example.

I am interested in learning Role Master. What are the core materials I must obtain to learn the rules? No so-called splat books please. At least not yet.

Depends on where you want to start as a newbie. Rolemaster is a game that is highly detailed and with many options. The current edition: Rolemaster United (RMU) is a combination of the original Rolemaster (RM2), and Rolemaster the Standard System (RMSS).

I run RMSS. To get started, go here:

Sorry, that wasn't the right place to point you to. :( Delyn, you need to start with Rolemaster Fantasy Roleplaying. I can answer any questions you have. Since I can't share my .PDFs here, I can point you to where you can buy it on Drivethru.

To keep things private, you can send me PMs with your questions.

This mp3 will describe Rolemaster for you. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KQ2nr33ZzHe4jSM1J8z6fewnuqP4F6AV/view
