In response to the new editions of Shadowdale, Tantras, and Waterdeep... did they totally redo it? Is that why they have Scott Ciencin (first two books) and Troy Denning (Third book) as authors... or did Richard Awlingson not really right the original three? anyone know? |

Richard Awlinson is not a real person. Scott and troy are the people who wrote the books and they used a Pseudonym |

Wow! Nicely scooped ArcticKnight! Does it mention anywhere if the new Avatar series are in hardcover? When are they released? |

::chuckle:: Awlinson was a clever disguise of "All In One."

::gets down on the floor and begins to clean up all of the drool in the room with a cloth:: Yuck! Normally it's Rad that's drooling. I have to admit, though, this is worth it. Very good AK, very good. ::hands the rag to Rad:: I think you can use this now. |

The artwork on those last two books looks a lot like old Dark Sun campaign stuff to me... |

Not only are the original books of the 'Avatar trilogy' being reprinted... so are Prince of Lies (Sept) and Crucible: Trial of Cyric the Mad (Oct) and are now dubbed under "The Avatar Series"
Also Homeland is due to be out in a new hardback Author-Annoted Edition in November... and there is supposed to be a Legacy of the Drow Boxed Set out in Sept. The Thousand Orcs Paperback in July, Dissolution Paperback in August, and Insurrection Paperback in Oct This is all from the Advertisements in the new Tangled Webs reprint |

A valid question has not been answered, and I am very curious. Is the avatar series going to tweaked, redone, or untouched? |

AFAIK, the Avatar Series is just being released over the next few months with new covers. There is no extra material. |

well... one would assume there'd be something new as the old books had around 330 pages, and the new ones are labeled to have around 350... so that's a rough 20 pages... and i seriously doubt that my joking comment on another thread about it being for just advertisements is going to be what the 20 pages are... |
