I know that at least one other person got an unsolicited Private Message about Whatsapp, from someone named reposso, who had just signed up today.

Ignore that PM. The person who sent it has been heartily disinvited from our halls.

I'm also going to ping Big Al about this.

Apologies for any inconvenience on this. A Spam control function is in place to prevent PMs being sent for members without x posts to the forum. I'll look further into this, but the member has now been banned.

I notice that almost half of Candlekeep's members - nearly 5,000 members - have never submitted even 1 post.

I myself signed up months before I started posting here... I signed up, looked around, and went back to posting on the WotC forums. Then they banned me, and I settled in here and started posting.
