So I was in middle of some Realms research when life puts a full stop on it for several months. I finally get back and for the life of me I don't remember what book I was in.
The map I seek depicted which merchants, costers, etc controlled what region. There was even some overlap. I remember the iron throne and zhentarim were represented, maybe Aurora also. I'm guessing it was 2e.
Thanks in advance scribes.

Rogue: So what's in the general store? DM: What are you looking for? Rogue: Whatevers in the store. DM: Like what? Rogue: Everything. DM: There is a lot of stuff. Rogue: Is there a cart outside? DM: (rolls) Yes. Rogue: We'll take it all, we may need it for the greater good.
There was a trade map in the FRCS (3E) and a Zhentarim trade routes map in Ruins of Zhentil Keep. Otherwise, I'm not familiar with any trade maps like you describe.

Both maps I reference often.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the map on pg24 of Cloak & Dagger
This is the one I was looking for. I guess it isn't exclusively for trade but you have a few major trade companies.
