I've lurked here via many a link for years, but this is the first time I've taken the plunge to sign up. I love FR, I D&D pretty much exclusively in it (I run a Cormyr campaign), and I frequently post on r/forgotten_realms.
I have a certain amount of reverence for this forum and its long-standing contributors. Signing up felt like a big step for me, at least.
Feel free to ask any questions you may have... A lot of us have been Realms fans for years, and we know a thing or three about the setting. Plus, we've got some of the authors and creators here!
As for the rest of us, we are friendly, mostly harmless, and occasionally strange... Enjoy your stay!
