• 3e/3.5: Shade is a template that adds +2 to the base creatures CR.
• 4e Core: Shade is a template that can be added to any Humanoid creature of 11th level or higher. Monsters gain the Elite entry and add that to their XP bonus.
• 4E (Heroes of Shadow) allow for the race of Shades, so no level bonus.
• 5E: nothing yet that isn't the monster "Shade", which is a CR 1/4 (100 XP) |
