I'm not sure if it's accurate and I tried my best.https://imgur.com/gallery/rT7gOpT

That’s really, really good looking stuff. Whether Astral or not,
there’s somewhere in the known planes that this can be used to set the feeling.

I'm impressed by this art.

I've read many descriptions of the Astral spanning editions and decades - words attempting to describe what cannot be described in words, or so they say - but these images give the shifting, silvery, iridescent, incomprehensible "terrain" of the plane a sense of visceral "realism" the words have always failed to communicate. It makes me imagine what it might be like to find myself in that place, what other places are being represented by the shapes and "objects" seen in the apparent distance, what sort of puzzling effort might be needed to move to them.

-I wish I was able to draw well.

-I always envisioned in my head the Astral and the Etheral Planes to basically look the same, except things in the Astral have like a greenish/gold hue and things in the Etheral have a grayish/black/white hue. Sepia and black-and-white I guess, lol.

Out of curiosity, did you use some kind of effect generator on previous backgrounds, or did you create that from whole cloth. I agree, it is very interesting looking.

Each piece is original. Composed with a combination of AI, text and editing.

I'm not an artist by any means, but I like to learn how things are done. Sometimes understanding it gives me ideas, even if I only vaguely get the idea of what you are doing. I'm intrigued because some of this looks like you started off with another piece of art and then "spun" it somehow. If it wouldn't be annoying for you to write up, I'd be intrigued to read some of the things you do.

As a for instance, recently we were talking here about making a high level underdark map for non-Faerunian areas, I hadn't really thought about it prior, but the concept of using layers with a top layer that's the surface and mostly transparent and a bottom layer that's a copy of the top, but whiting out the continent and then drawing tunnels on the white. It proves a decent way to give a map for underdark (and yes the 3e underdark map was where I got the idea). We were actually playing with the idea of having layers for upperdark, middledark, and lowerdark and you could then show each layer separately. I know that's more "utilitarian" art, but still, I like hearing how people use technology.

I only do what you need in part but it's a simple enough concept. You could even extend it past 2-d to 3-d with Blender. I'll show you a bit of the guts of one of the pictures.

Edit----I hate imager reordering the pics. Two are out of sequence, I'm sorry and I can't fix it)
