Ummm ... my mind and browser may be playing tricks on me but is anyone else seeing a strange image in the top left corner of the webpage where the Candlekeep logo/link is, above the little folder motifs that tell you what topic you are looking at?

Nope, looks fine to me. What sort of image is it?

Perhaps the Candlekeep logo just did not load fully? Either that or Alaundo was playing with a new logo

I see dead people, but no image.

Well met

Hmmmmm, what exactly are you seeing, George Krashos?

Everything is still secure here ::grabs Candlekeep sign and gives it a tug to ensure is securely fastened::

Mayhaps if this continues to occur, take an image and send it on to me to check.

Indeed, George. I see no such image...

George, did this picture look like either:

  1. a large red x over a white square or
  2. a triangle, a square, and a circle over a white square?

If it's either, don't worry; your browser hadn't loaded the image for some reason.

How do we know you haven't just randomly made up those options and are just trying to lure George away from learning the real source of the image.

It's probably a secret passage to somewhere within the site...

Hehe, guess I'll just have to watch out for Miirym.

The image is ... unseemly. I've been having some trouble with my no doubt virus riddled system (which is being cleaned out soon ...) so I'll live with it for the moment.

LOL

I cant imagine it would be anything other than an unloaded image, as Arivia stated.

Maybe there are other such passages, perhaps leading into Alaundo's forbidden wine cellar?

If you're still having problems with either aspect George, I can talk to the Sage for you. He's encountered problems similar to this with regards to overseas forum communities.

Ah, you are another friend of the Sage's, then? Soon, mayhaps his entire D&D group will join us here at Candlekeep.

I doubt that . Most of them have seen the glorious treasures contained here in the libraries of Candlekeep and simply dismissed them. They are still of the belief that they only true FR message board is the WotC FR Message Board.

It's part of the reason why the Sage and I are trying to organise a new gaming group. We want players who are more open-minded about such things.

How was it that saying finished, again? "You can lead an orc to slaughter, but you can't make him think," I believe it was...

I think I've only heard that particular phrase once or twice, although I can't remember where. Does anybody have any ideas on this?.

Obviously said by beings who have no real idea of the Intellectual superiority of the Orcish Race. Orcs, we would wager a guess, are far more sophisticated than many would dare think.

Well, I've cleaned many an orc brain off my blade, and let me tell you- by the time they get to me, those things are just barely warm. Not an intelligent thought to be found...
