The chult adventure has a Temple of Savras in Port Nyanzaru. Didn't he die a hundred years earlier when Mystra was killed?

If he's dead, his priests wouldn't have spells. Seems like an oversight in the module, but figured this would be the place to ask.

A whole bunch of gods were resurrected by the Second Sundering in the 4e to 5e transition. Savras is listed in the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide list of gods, and so is one of them.

Many were also revealed to have never died, like Mystra herself.

Yeah, officially, "all" the gods returned. But they've never specified what they mean by "all" -- is Ibrandul back? Is Murdane back? How about Kipputytto? What about the Seven Lost Gods that served Bane but are never mentioned anywhere, other than in references to their defeat by him and his buds?

WotC's deliberate vagueness here is one of the reasons I seriously dislike the whole thing.

-Of all the deities out there who were destroyed, Savras is definitely most capable of planning ahead.

As others said, most, if not all the gods are back in 5e. Ao restored the Tablets of Fate, and some deities how had "died" were revealed to not have. Mystra herself had contingencies in place.
