It is pretty and would make a nice decoration.
However I found this quote: Since the ascension of Midnight, her symbol is a ring of eight stars surrounding a red mist, which flows from the center to the bottom of the ring; however, her older and still commonly seen symbol is a simple seven-pointed star.

Your star has eight points, which does appear to conform with image at this site: https://forgottenrealms.fandom.com/wiki/Mystra quote: A blue-white star
There appears some lack of clarity of which if not all symbols should be used for the deity. |
"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards." "Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding. "After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first." There's no confusion, the holy symbol changed with Midnight's ascension during the Avatar Crisis; the blue-white star was used by the previous Mystra. |

Yeah, I almost typed "Mystra the First", as this is the holy symbol from the 1e FRCG. It then changed to the one with the seven stars surrounding a rising red mist (noting it was seven, which corresponds to the number of sisters and there's a lot of sevens in her relationship as well as Selune's). What those stars look like in 2e was the traditional 5 pointed star. In 3e they colored up the symbol and made them seven of the 1e star with the whole river of blood/red mist thing. I've noted in 5e there's a new difference. But I wanted to just make something that references Mystra I specifically for a reason. |
