Quick question Sages.
I remember reading about a Baelnorn Bladesinger in one of the Return of the Archwizards novels. I think it was the second book. The Bladesinger was defending a Crypt in Myth Drannor from some Phaerim(sp?) and their thralls. Am I remembering right or did I lose my mind? If so what was this Baelnorn's name?
Thanks!

Is "all of the above" an option?
I would be more helpful, but I've not read those books in quite some time... Even if I was reading Realms books more frequently than I am, those books would not be anywhere near the top of my re-read list. (likely, not even on that list!) |

I'm more surprised there aren't more of them. If the baelnorn-ified elves retain spellcasting skills, why not spellcasting and fighting style? |

Wait - "Corineus", really? That's some Salvatore grade naming. |

Sometimes you just use whatever comes to mind. I have a gnome NPC named Pornock Felndar. |

It's better than Jack Ravenwild, of Raven's Bluff. Ye gods, that one bugs me. |

Ravenwild or Wildravens, either name would be fine -- from any place other than Raven's Bluff. It's like having a character name John Waterguy, from Waterdeep, or Tom Silverwood, from Silverymoon. |

-Like Game of Thrones has "generic bastard surnames" that are kind of tailored for the area- Snow, Sand, Pike, etc.- I could see some kind of raven-related name being a kind of stock one for the people there. |

Isn't that exactly how they named Alustriel's kids. Jr Silverymoon #1-#8. Just in Elvish. |

Corineus Drannaeken; The guardian of Irithlium in Myth Drannor. CR 20; Sorcerer 10/ Fighter 5/ Bladesinger 5.
Technically, a Baelnorn is just a elven Lich with elven qualities. A "good" Lich if you will. The Baelnorn Template allows for all classes in the end. As long as you meet the requirements, you're golden.
